Well so Facebook has been banned in Pakistan. The reason? A group called "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!" was created and the Pakistani's were not too happy about it. By drawing Prophet Mohammed, people feel that it is an insult toward the Muslim religion.
However by banning Facebook, many residents in Pakistan would definetely be outraged. Not all pakistani's have joined the group thus they would feel that it is an unfair treatment that all of them have to suffer. Facebook is a social networking site. It is not just for groups like that. People use Facebook to intereact with their friends as well. Furthermore, many people use Facebook as a source of entertainment as there are countless games on the site. I do feel that it is unfair for them because certain people have done no wrong and yet they have to suffer the consequences as well.
